we bought 1 shirt & 1 top from Pantaloons store in nexus seawoods mall, Navi mumbai. during the billing process their executive asked for mobile number to send the bill online. I refused to share my mobile number for privacy concerns hence, the executive refused to give me the physical copy of bill even after requesting multiple times. this engages in an unfair and restrictive trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. & Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act. collecting personal data requires explicit, uncoerced consent and cannot be bundled as a mandatory condition for a simple retail transaction. I request you to take an appropriate action against the store.
