Subject: Final Escalation – Failure to Honor Warranty Commitment, Deficient Service, Financial Loss & Unresolved Battery Replacement (Case No. ****5433)
Dear Amaron Leadership Team,
I am compelled to write this email as a formal and final escalation regarding the unacceptable customer service experience I have endured over the past several months. The sequence of events reflects not only negligence and poor coordination but also a complete disregard for customer rights, warranty obligations, and service commitments.
Today, I received a call from Mr. Mayank, who instructed me to visit Sunrise Distributors Pitstop to resolve my battery replacement issue. Before visiting, I clearly informed him that traveling to the pitstop without confirmation of a resolution would result in unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time. However, I was assured that a solution would be provided if I visited the location.
Relying on this assurance, I visited the pitstop. During the discussion, Mr. Mayank reviewed my battery inspection report dated March 2026, which clearly recorded a battery voltage of 10.27V, significantly below the expected 12V. He acknowledged that the battery should have been replaced at that time and further agreed that the failure to do so was a mistake on the part of AB Enterprises.
However, I was then informed that I should pursue the matter with AB Enterprises rather than Amaron. This position is unacceptable. AB Enterprises is an authorized dealer/service partner of Amaron, not an entity chosen by me independently. As a customer, I purchased an Amaron product and sought service through Amaron's authorized service network. I cannot be expected to resolve disputes between Amaron and its dealer. Any failure by an authorized dealer remains the responsibility of Amaron and should not be transferred to the customer.
What followed was even more disappointing. The receptionist at the pitstop refused to process the replacement and demanded proof of my previous visits to AB Enterprises. I explained that technicians and service centers generally do not provide service reports during inspections or visits.
In fact:
No report was provided during my visit to Sunrise Pitstop in August.
No report was provided during today's visit.
No report was provided during the home inspection visit conducted by your team.
The only reason I possess the March 2026 report is because it was attached to my digital warranty record. Expecting customers to produce documents that your own service partners routinely fail to provide is unreasonable, unfair, and contrary to basic customer service principles. This appears to be merely an excuse to deny a legitimate warranty claim.
Further, when I requested a response to my numerous emails, I was informed by the receptionist that "Amaron does not reply to emails." Such a statement is highly unprofessional and deeply concerning. If this reflects Amaron's official approach to customer grievances, it raises serious questions regarding the effectiveness of your customer support and grievance redressal system.
I am particularly disappointed that despite repeatedly marking the concerned grievance authorities and escalation contacts in my communications, I have not received any meaningful written response. This continued silence conveys a complete lack of accountability toward customers.
Additional Financial Loss, Mental Harassment & Inconvenience
Due to the persistent failure of my battery and the prolonged delay in resolving this issue, I have been forced to repeatedly rely on roadside assistance services merely to keep my vehicle operational.
Since the issue was first reported, I have booked roadside assistance approximately 7 to 8 times to jump-start my vehicle because the battery repeatedly failed. Each roadside assistance visit has cost me approximately ₹500, resulting in an estimated direct financial loss of ₹3,500 to ₹4,000 solely because of the defective battery and the failure of Amaron's service network to provide a timely resolution.
I would therefore like Amaron to clearly answer the following questions:
Who is responsible for the financial losses I have incurred due to repeated battery failures?
Who will reimburse the expenses incurred towards roadside assistance and jump-start services?
Why should a customer bear the cost of maintaining and repeatedly reviving a defective battery while waiting for action under warranty?
If the battery was found defective months ago and should have been replaced then, who will compensate me for the costs and inconvenience caused by the delay?
Apart from the direct financial loss, I have suffered significant inconvenience and mental harassment. On multiple occasions, I have been left stranded with a non-starting vehicle, uncertain whether I would be able to reach my workplace or fulfill personal commitments. Repeated follow-ups, unanswered calls, broken commitments, multiple visits to service centers, and the absence of any concrete resolution have resulted in substantial stress, anxiety, frustration, and loss of productive time.
I purchased an Amaron battery believing that I was investing in a reliable product backed by a dependable warranty and service network. Unfortunately, my experience has been exactly the opposite. Instead of receiving support when required, I have been forced to continuously chase customer care representatives, service centers, and authorized dealers for a resolution that should have been provided several months ago.
Key Concerns
Failure to replace a defective battery despite clear evidence dating back to March 2026.
Acknowledgement by your representative that the battery should have been replaced earlier.
Repeated false assurances and unfulfilled commitments from customer service representatives.
Lack of service documentation by authorized dealers and pitstops.
Attempts to shift responsibility from Amaron to its authorized dealer network.
Failure to provide written responses despite multiple email escalations.
Financial loss due to repeated roadside assistance and jump-start charges.
Significant inconvenience, wasted time, and mental harassment caused by repeated delays.
My Final Demand
I request Amaron to immediately arrange the FOC (Free of Cost) replacement of my battery and confirm the same in writing.
Please note:
The battery replacement must be completed by tomorrow.
I request a written explanation of why the replacement was not processed when the battery was first found defective in March 2026.
I request clarification regarding reimbursement of my roadside assistance expenses and compensation for the financial losses, inconvenience, and mental distress suffered due to this prolonged delay.
I possess the call recording with Mr. Mayank and am prepared to submit it as evidence of the assurances provided.
If the battery replacement is not completed within the above timeline, I will be compelled to purchase a replacement battery from another manufacturer, such as Exide, to ensure my daily commute is not disrupted.
I reserve my right to seek reimbursement, compensation, and appropriate relief through consumer grievance forums for deficiency in service, unfair trade practices, financial loss, and mental harassment.
In the absence of immediate resolution, I will also share my experience publicly through social media platforms and consumer awareness forums so that other customers are aware of the level of after-sales support being provided.
This email should be treated as my final escalation before further action. I sincerely hope Amaron recognizes the seriousness of this matter and resolves it immediately rather than forcing a loyal customer to pursue further remedies.
I expect an immediate written response along with confirmation of the battery replacement process, timeline, and the action being taken to address the losses and inconvenience caused.
Regards,
Akash Jain
